Drive the Sourcing process within the Company to ensure our Supply Chain is fully developed to meet business requirements. The Supply Chain must achieve competitive market rates, considering total cost of acquisition, whilst delivering on the Company's commitment to responsible ethical trading. 01 Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Supply Chain to ensure we achieve competitive market rates with excellent service and quality across all commodities.
- Apply long term strategies to manage and enhance supply partners. Continuous improvement measures must consider: business profile, factory audit, Sustainable Procurement, quality systems, service levels, cost management and Health & Safety.
- Work with Estimating & Project Teams to identify and deliver opportunities for consolidation & margin improvement.
- Work with Estimating & Project Teams to deliver robust Supply Plans for project implementation.
- Ensure that the supply chain is cost competitive for both European and Asia supply, and fulfilling all necessary production disciplines.
- Manage the auditing and on-boarding process for new suppliers.
- Report on supply chain performance, and keep Supplier Dashboard up-to-date. Monthly review meetings with key supply partners.
- Sourcing of components.
- Monitor and report on industry and Macro economic trends in order to ensure that the business is able to leverage and react changing situations.
- Follow developments in innovation and sustainability to ensure that the Business is being up-to-date best practice into the supply chain.
- Understand and react to regional and global trends in sourcing.
- Ensure that suppliers are aware of business objectives.
- When required, engage in negotiation of contracts and prices.
- Act as a point of escalation for supplier related issues.

02 Knowledge
- Ideally a business or engineering degree.
- Industry experience within a Supply Management role.
- Strong sourcing, auditing & analytical skills.
- Supplier auditing experience, including CAPR.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Experience dealing with off shore supply.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), very strong tact and diplomacy.
- Must be a self-starter with ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Very strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to create, communicate and implement short / medium / long terms strategies.
- Computer literate to a high standard.
