The Role
To support continued growth and delivery of high-value European programmes, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to work in close collaboration with the Commercial Manager / QS, ensuring successful commercial and operational delivery of a large-scale POS FMCG roll-out programme.
You will lead project teams and external installation partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and design standards.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager / QS and Technical Development team, you'll align project planning, commercial strategy, and technical execution — driving excellence across all stages from concept through to installation.

01 Responsibilities
- Take full ownership for the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale FMCG POS roll-out projects across multiple European markets.
- Define and manage the overall programme structure, timelines, and resource plans.
- Oversee and coordinate all project phases — from concept design through technical development, manufacture, logistics, and installation.
- Ensure delivery excellence through rigorous control of quality, schedule, and client expectations.
- Lead regular project reviews, status updates, and risk assessments
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including designers, technical developers, logistics, and installers.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable culture across internal and external partners.
- Work in tandem with the Commercial Manager / QS to ensure commercial integrity and financial control are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout project delivery.
- Translate client objectives into actionable plans and deliverables.
- Manage communication across all stakeholders — clients, internal teams, suppliers, and senior management.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to clients and Colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Development and Production teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and efficiency across technical and manufacturing stages.
- Oversee approval of technical drawings, prototypes, and samples prior to production.
- Monitor manufacturing progress and quality control across UK, European and China production facilities.
- Ensure that all technical outputs meet design intent, budget, and compliance requirements
- Identify and mitigate project risks across time, cost, and scope.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting in line project governance standards.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, safety regulations, and internal QA/QC processes
- Coordinate with logistics and installation teams to plan roll-out schedules, deliveries, and on-site execution.
- Ensure installation teams adhere to H&S regulations, quality standards, and brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple market / multiple vendor installations simultaneously, resolving issues proactively to avoid disruption.

Strong understanding of technical development, manufacturing, and installation processes for high volume POS and retail environments.
Demonstrated success managing multi-million-pound budgets and complex timelines.

03 Experience
8+ years' experience managing large-scale retail design, POS, or fit-out roll-out programmes across multiple regions.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
Deep understanding of logistics & on-site installation
Client liaison and stakeholder communication
Skilled in project planning tools (MS Project, Monday.com, etc.)
