The Role
The Project Manager role is essential to supporting the continued growth of the business. This is a busy and varied position requiring a highly organised individual with strong knowledge of Sage 50 and proven project management expertise. The role involves daily interaction with internal Sales teams and external customers, both by telephone and face-to-face.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent negotiation skills to secure best pricing from suppliers, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver projects to tight client deadlines. This fast-paced role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to perform under pressure. The Project Manager will also be responsible for motivating, supporting, and mentoring team members while ensuring the department operates efficiently and cost-effectively

01 Responsibilities
- Receive completed project briefs from Account Managers and manage projects through to successful completion, ensuring best practice at all times.
- Liaise closely with Account Managers, Production, and Design teams to achieve the desired project outcomes.
- Arrange and manage project orders on Sage 50.
- Source materials and negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve best value.
- Develop a clear understanding of customer requirements and expectations.
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries with the Logistics team.
- Hold weekly team meetings to promote communication and team cohesion; record minutes and distribute them to the Operations Manager.
- Complete detailed job sheets containing all relevant information to enable Production to deliver projects on time.
- Conduct performance reviews and support staff development.
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects.
- Control and manage project budgets by obtaining and comparing quotes from multiple suppliers, with a focus on reducing costs against estimator quotations.
- Take full ownership and accountability for team performance and project delivery.
- Act as a strong team player, sharing knowledge and supporting junior team members.
- Plan, manage change, and drive continuous improvement within the department and wider company.
- Deal with project queries and issues confidently and assertively.
- Maintain a positive, proactive, and "can-do" attitude at all times.

- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and spoken English, with excellent numeracy and organisational skills.
- Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the POS/POP industry.
- Good understanding of materials including acrylics, woods, metals, and other substrates.
- Strong knowledge of plastic fabrication techniques and woodworking processes.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
