01 Responsibilities
Oversee and contribute to the production of detailed CAD drawings, including sheet metal, welded assemblies, and bespoke joinery components, ensuring designs are manufacturable and value engineered.
Lead the team in the use of SolidWorks for 2D/3D modelling, assemblies, and renderings, maintaining design accuracy and best practices throughout the design process.
Develop and maintain a robust CAD standards manual and ensure consistent application across the team.
Produce high-quality 3D renderings and visuals for client approvals where required.

02 Knowledge
- Support the creation and maintenance of part numbers, BOMs, and routings within the ERP system.
- Work closely with IT/CAD vendors to ensure optimal CAD system performance and resolve technical issues as needed.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues stemming from design, implementing corrective actions and drawing revisions as needed.
- Liaise with the Quality, Production, and Supply Chain departments to address and prevent internal non-conformances and site complaints.
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset within the design team, identifying opportunities to enhance design efficiency, accuracy, and manufacturability.
