The Role
Develop new products from a conceptual design or client brief under the guidance of other Development Designers. All designs are to be constructed using best practice materials, design features and techniques.

01 Responsibilities
\- Carry out development design solutions with team members
\- Provide technical support to the assembly line during set-up to the first-off production
\- Store all data in a secure environment using established procedures and protocols
\- Test components prior to production phase as appropriate to ensure they are fit for purpose

02 Knowledge
\- Ensure all designs meets the given budget of the project
\- Ensuring that all necessary detail is in place (specification, BOM, drawings etc) to ensure that the project is handed over to relevant internal/external teams when it enters the production phase
\- All design solutions have to incorporate best practice materials, features and techniques
\- Test components prior to the production as appropriate to ensure they are fit for purpose
\- Store all data in a secure environment using established procedures and protocols
\- Ensuring health, safety and the environment are all respected in design specifications
\- Travel domestically and overseas as required
