To manage and control specific site installations, ensuring their completion in accordance with the customer’s deadlines and to the required quality level.

01 Responsibilities
- To supervise and advise external Global installation teams (subcontractor and/or client nominated) ensuring that each installation is completed as per the customers’ requirements and within the specified timescales.
- Monitor installation team to ensure proper conduct throughout
- Provide guidance and advise installation team on best practice/method
- Provide a demonstration if/when required
- Conduct site surveys when requested.
- Visit specified locations to collate required data
- Ensure data requirements are clear prior to survey
- Provide clear information to relevant stakeholders immediately after survey
- Liaise with the Design / Engineering team to outline any specification changes or upgrades to equipment.
- Propose amendments/revisions to design/engineering team to improve Be hands on and assist the installation teams’ if/when required.
- Recognise the need to become part of the installation team, leading by example to ensure completion time is achieved
- Work alone to complete installations if/when required.
- Conduct one person installations and remedial work, as required
- Complete remedial work tasks in a supervisory capacity, as part of a team or as a lone fitter
- Be prepared to work various shifts, including weekend and night work to satisfy the client/business demands. This may occasionally include bank holidays.
- Most of our installations are conducted out of store closing hours which includes early morning (pre-opening) and night (after closing) shifts
- Stay flexible and reliable whilst your schedule is ever changing, often with very little notice.
- Late requests are common and could include overseas travel and could also include weekend and/or night work, with the potential for overnight accommodation requirements
- Be prepared to travel to different countries/regions
- You must ensure your passport is valid at all times
- Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders during and post installation to ensure updates are issued as/when necessary.
- Keep the team updated during the installation
- Problem solve on site if/when required.
- Find solutions (where possible) if any problems arise during the installation
- Problem solving is a critical part of installations if/when unforeseen/unexpected issues arise
- Provide recommendations for real time and/or future installations
- Ensure all department documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company policy ensuring that all documentation is finished within the required time.
- PIRs (post installation reports) to be submitted/issued to the relevant stakeholders immediately upon completion of the installation and before leaving site
- Provide clear information of snags, missing parts, damaged parts and/or any noteworthy points
- Provide high resolution photos of before and after installation and/or any noteworthy points and/or any special requirements from Business stakeholders
- Ensure thorough and full preparation is conducted in advance of any upcoming installations.
- Preparation to include pre installation meetings, collating relevant technical drawings, layouts, planograms
- Preparation to include ensuring correct tools, hardware, equipment (such as step ladders for example) is arranged and available for the installation
- Preparation to include travel arrangements and accommodation
- Preparation to include asking the correct people the correct questions
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by your Line Manager. This could include quality inspections and assembly work.
- You may be asked to conduct QC inspections at factory (various countries/regions) or at the Company's facility
- You may be asked to assist our in-house assembly team with assembly of fixtures and/or prototypes
