The Role
Being an active member of the business winning team, working with sales, design and suppliers to build a cost model for a project, using existing templates in order to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates. Using analytical techniques to build business arguments in support of the cost proposal. Interrogate supplier costs in order to deliver accurate and consistent cost information and to identify commercial opportunities in other areas of the business.

01 Responsibilities
- Preparation of a cost estimate to the agreed brief and present to a client specified format
- Producing cost analysis to assist with tender pitch
- Preparation of detailed budget for hand over to the sales team
- Ongoing analysis of supplier cost for comparison against standard pricing matrices
- Build LCA assessments and help prepare/present the results
- Keep up to date with new manufacturing techniques and materials with the goal of offering advice/recommendations to the sales, projects and development teams

- Deliver analytical support to pricing and other on-financial teams
- To assist sales with options with the aim of maximising profitability
- Proactively offer lower cost alternatives
- Create and update standard cost models for key production functions
- Provide commercial input to technical reviews, promoting commercial awareness
- Liaise with procurement and suppliers directly on special products and services as required
- With the support of the CSR team, build and calculate Life Cycle Analysis assessment
- Present financial and/or LCA results to the sales team
- Gather and store data in a secure environment
