Our client is looking for either a Junior or Middleweight Technical Designer.

They work collaboratively with their clients, including Brands, Retailers, Agencies, Designers, Landlords, Marketers & Architects. The work produced is as varied as their skills; from the creation of innovative pop-up spaces for some of the most revered distributors, to developing and executing multi-store European campaigns for global sports companies.

Implement and manage an effective design and development function, ensuring that the company's control framework, competitiveness and strategy is developed and maintained effectively.

- Agree on design solution with wider team.
- Overall responsibility for design/development direction for all aspects.
- Ensure specifications, and relevant documentation is on Source to agreed timelines.
- Manage workload to meet the agreed deadline.
- Provide technical support to the assembly through set-up to first-off production.

03 Experience
- Ensure all designs meets the given budget of the project
- Ensuring that all necessary detail is in place (specification, BOM, drawings etc) to ensure that the project is handed over to relevant internal/external teams when it enters the production phase
- All design solutions have to incorporate business best practice materials, features and techniques
- Work on several jobs concurrently, while maintaining high standards
- Test components prior to the production as appropriate to ensure they are fit for purpose
- Store all data in a secure environment using established the business procedures and protocols
- Ensuring health, safety and the environment are all respected in design specifications
- Travel domestically and overseas when it\`s required. For customer meetings, site visits and surveys where it\`s necessary.
- Experience using CAD software, preferable Solidworks
- Previous experience in POS, Retail Design, Shopfit or transferrable market
