The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Account Director to join a forward thinking organisation and drive the commercial agenda across a variety of both established and emerging accounts. With a large and varied offering of products and solutions, you will be responsible for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans within your customer base.
To be considered for this role you will have a strong commercial background, ideally across the Retail Store Development and Point of Sale sector, Print knowledge is a bonus.
You'll need to be an exceptional relationship builder, both internally and externally, with a track record of delivering new and innovative ideas to customers and a proven ability to set and implement strategies. In addition to driving innovation, existing business needs maximising within your set of accounts.
You will be a strong communicator with a positive attitude, energetic, and engaging approach. Comfortable working as part of a team, but also a self-starter with the ability to work independently and comprehensively manage a ranging network of contacts, both at the retailer, and select third parties.

01 Responsibilities
Closely and proactively managing and driving customer relationships.
Developing and negotiating joint business plans that deliver results
Managing your P&L and numbers: volume, value, gross profit, as well as supporting invoicing and credit control efforts where required.
Supporting all forecasting efforts within the business
Monitoring competitor activity and performance, and on the wider trends in the market, feeding back concisely and in a timely manner.
Supporting and developing the wider commercial team through knowledge sharing.
Owning strategy, plans, and activity, working as a close partner to the Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
Involving yourself, from start to finish, with launch and project activities ensuring that we launch and roll out our initiatives with excellence.
Proactively seeking out opportunities to drive business growth, whether through existing accounts, or new business.
Working with design, product development and marketing to lead category recommendations across customers & ensure they have the most effective solutions.

02 Knowledge
3+ years' experience in Store Development in the UK. Preferably within a POS/P or Shop-Fit business.
Currently working at a SNAM or experienced NAM level.
Highly numerate with a good understanding of account management financials.
Independent and self-driven but thrive as a hard-working team member.
Highly efficient, detail-orientated and organised.
Show initiative to seek out new opportunities and different ways of working.
Combine the ability for strategic thinking with a strong hands-on attitude.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build credible relationships quickly.
Able to manage difficult situations effectively.
